Harold "Jay" Jones, 81 of Westville, Oklahoma, passed awayon July 16, 2020 at his residence in Westville, Oklahoma.
He was born on October 19, 1938 in Clifty, Arkansas to Reverend Ernest Jones and Goldie Riley Jones.
Jay was self-employed. He enjoyed music, playing his guitar, fishing, camping, and riding in his dune-buggy.
He was a member of Rocky Mountain Church where he played the steel guitar.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Kenneth Wayne Jones and Darrell Keith Jones; one sister, Joyce Yvonne Howard, and baby boy Jones.
Survivors include wife, Jane Jones; one son, Jeffery Jones of Pittsburgh, Kansas; two step sons, Gary Burrows of Keys, Oklahoma and Sam Burrows and wife Tesha, of Springtown, Arkansas; two daughters, Diana Stauffer and husband Shawn of Waxahachie, Texas; Tonya Watson and husband, Tim of Rogers, Arkansas; one step daughter, Lora Burrows and fiancée Jay of Sallisaw,
Oklahoma. Nineteen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 20, 2020 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale, Arkansas. Graveside services were held on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Highfill Cemetery in Highfill, Arkansas with Pastor Danny Willard officiating.
