Eva Louise (Charmasson) Jones
February 20, 1948 ~ March 13, 2024

Louise Jones, 76 year old Woodward resident, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at her home in Woodward. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2024 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Karen Rogers officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date.

Eva Louise (Charmasson) Jones was born on February 20, 1948 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Melvin and Maime (Buford) Charmasson. Lousie grew up in Alva and Woodward, attending Alva schools and graduating from Woodward High School in 1965. After her graduation from Beauty School, she was united in marriage to Sydney Stewart and they were blessed with one son Steve.

Louise was united in marriage to Hugh Jones on March 2, 1982 in Woodward, Oklahoma. They made their home in Woodward.

Louise enjoyed shopping, decorating, and traveling, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

She is survived by her children, Hilary Jones, Walker Jones; grandchildren: Staton, Grant, Lane, Cole, Brennon, Chris, Nicole, and Bailey; one brother, Eugene Charmasson; brother-in-law, Bruce Marston; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Hugh Jones, her son Steve Stewart, sister Imogene Marston, her first husband Sydney Stewart, and sister-in-law, Sandy Charmasson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
