Calvin Rex "Half-Pint" Jones

May 22, 1957 ~ July 8, 2006

A memorial service for Calvin Rex "Half-Pint" Jones, 49, of Cleo Springs, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Aline United Methodist Church. The Rev. Dan Davis will officiate. Arrange-ments are by Fairview Funeral Home Inc. He was cremated at his request.

He was born May 22, 1957, in Ponca City to James and Eilean Miller Jones and died Saturday, July 8, 2006, at his home.

He grew up in Cleo Springs and attended Aline-Cleo High School. He went to work as a roughneck in the oil fields and became a qualified heavy equipment operator. In 1999, he went to work for Allied Gypsum as a dozer operator.

He married Jane Seelke May 24, 1984, in Cleo Springs.

Surviving are his wife, Jane, of the home; one son, Preston Jones of Ringwood; two daughters, Monica Fouch of Wichita and Amanda Schoalfield of Austin, Texas; mother, Eilean Jones of Prairie Grove, Ark., grandmother, Hallie Jones of Tonkawa; four brothers, Clarence and Marvin Jones of Prairie Grove, Kim Jones of Sacramento, Calif., and Merl Jones of Aline; two sisters, Janet Jones of Prairie Grove and Nancy Jones of New Hampshire; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, James.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Fairview Hospice, Circle of Love.
