Charles Havis Jones, age 60 of Washington, formerly of Wayne passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 in Norman, OK. He was born on April 12, 1956 in Oklahoma City. Charles was the youngest of three sons born to Charles Wyman Jones and Weeta Jo (Taylor) Jones. Charles grew up in Wayne and also attended school there. He lived and worked in various western states including Nevada, Arizona and California. Charles married Susan Calkins and they lived in Crescent City, CA for many years where they spent time with their beloved dog, Buddy. Charles had many hobbies including playing blues music on his guitar, building model airplanes, and drawing. He was talented artistically and invested hours into carving stones into small, intricate figurines. He enjoyed jamming on the guitar with his brother, and boasted an incredible winning record in a game of cards. Charles, always the comedian, is remembered by the shenanigans he got into and his ability to make others laugh.
He is preceded in death by: Parents, Wyman and Weeta Jones, Brother, Joe Jones, Wife, Susan Jones;
He is survived by: One brother, Rick Jones and wife Pennie of Washington, A sister-in-law, Nancy Jones of Wayne, Uncle, Rex Floyd and wife Helen of Washington, Aunt, Juanita Ratliff of Norman, Several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
