William Lee "Bill" Johnson

William (Bill) Johnson, 79, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at home on 5//26/2026 with family by his side.

Bill was born in Abilene, Kansas to Rev. Billy Ray and Margie Johnson on March 10, 1947. He was the oldest of seven children. Bill was raised and educated in Elkhart, Kansas and was graduated from Southern Nazarene University.

He was preceded in death by his parents Billy Ray and Margie Johnson. Bill is survived by his wife Catherine, daughters Jenny (Brian) Mureur, Marcie (Jason) Turner, and Cyndi (Chili) Hill. Step children Tim (Joni) Miller, Tina (Rick) Clark, Troy (Jamie) Miller, and Steve (Krista) Miller. Also surviving are his siblings Phillip Johnson, Susanne Murry, Becky (Doug) Pierce, Stewart (Linda) Johnson, Bruce (Sandy) Johnson, and Mary (Kent) Dougherty along with several nieces and nephews. He loved being grandfather to 6 grand children and 8 step grand children and 13 great grand-children.

He was active in the community and cherished his long -time church family at Spirit Church in Bartlesville. Bill was in the commercial insurance industry for over 50 years. He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed immensely by his family and friends. Bill was a faith filled man and is walking the streets with the Lord.
