Vaughn Brendon Johnson

Vaughn Brendon Johnson
May 13, 1995 ~ October 5, 2020

Vaughn Brendon Johnson, 25, of Del City, OK was taken from this world on October 5th, 2020. He is survived by his father, Christopher Johnson, his stepmother, Doris Johnson, his sister, Alana Johnson, all of Woodstown, NJ; his mother, Sharon Johnson, of Del City OK; his grandmomma, Janet Johnson, of Yukon OK; his aunt, Carrie Pennington, his uncle, Daryl Johnson and aunt Barbara, all from OK; his grandmother, Viola Patrick, of Woodstown NJ; his step-sisters, Dannielle Lucchesi, of PA and Erica Lucchesi, of Iowa; his cousins, Cory Poteet, of OKC, and Christine Poteet, of Norman, OK; his aunt, Diane Garcia and cousin, McKayla Garcia, of Delaware.

Vaughn was articulate, polite, generous, and kind. He loved his family, his dogs, music, PS2, noodling and fishing. He enjoyed making people laugh and laughed easily himself. He was a positive person who enjoyed bantering with anyone. He would smile a lot, and he was happy to hear about others’ successes, always providing some encouragement. Although life was not always smooth for Vaughn, he left this world much too soon and we will miss him terribly. He graduated from Woodstown H.S. and the Vo-tech welding program in 2014.

Father in heaven, we pray that you, his late granddaddy, Dale Johnson, grandmother, Ruth Bergman, grandfather, Erwin Bergman, and Pop Pop, Richard Patrick, welcomed Vaughn with open arms and smiles at his arrival on October 5th. We will count the days until they and other family members greet each of us when our time comes.

A private family memorial will be held. In lieu of flowers, we ask those interested in honoring Vaughn to make a small donation to HOPE Community Services at 6100 S. Walker Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73139.
