Rose Johnson

1932 ~ 2026

Rose Johnson
Known lovingly as "Mammy" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Pody shared an abundance of love with her family and was deeply devoted to them all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Corky" Johnson.

She is survived by her children: Lisa Gregory of Jones, Oklahoma; David Brockman and wife, D.C., of Tulsa, Oklahoma; James "Phil" Johnson and wife, Teresa, of McLoud, Oklahoma; Cara Anderson and husband, Jim, of Midwest City, Oklahoma; and Stephanie Camilo and husband, Tony, of Sacramento, California. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored dearly.

Pody was known for her impressive golf game and was a longtime member of the Elks Country Club, where she spent many happy days on the course. She retired from the Oklahoma Natural Gas Company in 1992, having begun her career there at just 20 years old. She proudly spent more than 40 years with the company.

To know Pody was to love her. She will be greatly missed by all who had the joy of knowing her.
