Laura Ann (Catterton) Johnson
June 18, 1940 ~ January 11, 2026

Laura Ann Johnson, 85, of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at her home in Kingston. She was born on June 18, 1940 in Edgewater, Maryland to the late Charles Eldridge Catterton and Willie Laura Tucker/Catterton. Laura married William Dennis Johnson on August 22, 1969, in Anchorage, Alaska. She lived in Maryland and later moved to California where she received an associate’s degree. Laura later completed a paralegal degree at Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas. Laura and her husband made their home in Carrollton, Texas, where they lived for 40 years and 6 years in Crossroads, Texas before moving to Kingston four months ago. She enjoyed reading and watching television and treasured time at home with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Johnson of Kingston; her son, Kenneth Johnson of Kingston; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother; Charles E. Catterton and 1 sister; Ester Stacey.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America instead.
