Ellery was born on Oct. 26, 1994 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Marvin Johnson Jr. and Carrie (Hayes) Kyrouac, who later divorced. Ellery moved to Bartlesville with her mother and brother when she was 3 to be closer to her mother's family. Soon after, Carrie married a loving and wonderful man, Kevin Kyrouac, who became a father to Ellery. She attended Bartlesville schools and was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Ellery loved everyone who came into her life, entertaining them with her infectious smile and laugh. She loved playing with her toys and participating in Special Olympics. As much as she loved, she was loved. While her short life was filled with several struggles, she brought joy to many. The sunshine she gave to the world will be greatly missed.
Ellery passed away Thursday, November 16, 2017 in Bartlesville due to complications from pneumonia. Ellery is survived by her father Marvin Johnson Jr; parents Carrie and Kevin Kyrouac; siblings, Trevor Johnson, Rebecca Stewart (Kyle), Thomas Kyrouac and William Kyrouac; paternal grandmother Eva Johnson; and maternal grandparents Craig and Charlotte Hayes.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Marvin Johnson Sr.
Memorial services will be held 10am Dec. 2, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1501 SE Swan Drive. Bishop Sam Jones will preside.
Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home. Online condolences and remembrances may be shared with Ellery's family at www.DavisFamilyFuneralHome.com.
