Barbara Ann Johnson, 88, of Chouteau, passed away peacefully at her home on January 5, 2025. Born in May 1936, Barbara lived a life full of love, family, and cherished memories. In August 1985, she married the love of her life, Earnie Johnson, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Together, they built a beautiful life, creating a home filled with love and laughter. Barbara enjoyed quiet moments on the back patio, admiring the yard lovingly tended by her husband, a testament to his hard work and devotion. Barbara found joy in bird watching, identifying the many feathered visitors to her feeders, and sharing her knowledge with anyone who shared her passion. She also had a deep interest in ancestry research, spending hours uncovering her family's history and preserving their stories for future generations. Her greatest joy, however, was her family. Barbara loved spending time with her siblings, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart. She treasured every moment with them, creating memories that will be forever cherished. Barbara's warm heart and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she enriched.
