October 23, 1961 ~ July 10, 2023

The memorial services celebrating and honoring the life of Jackie John, 61, of Enid, will be held 1:00 P.M. Sunday July 16, 2023, in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Butch Phillips officiating. Complete cremation care and services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Jackie John was born October 23, 1961, to Jackie Gene Ashley and Margaret Drew in Phoenix, Arizona and passed from this life July 10, 2023, in Enid, Oklahoma.

She was raised in Phoenix until moving to Enid to live with her mother and stepfather Jerry Andrews, who raised her as his own. She attended school in Covington and graduated from Covington High School with the class of 1979. She went on to work at various jobs moving between Covington, Garber, and Enid. She worked at Bass Hospital as a Housekeeper, at Golden Oaks Nursing Home as an aide, at Res-Care as a Case Manager until 2003 and then Liberty Healthcare as a Charge until 2008. She married Ron John August 10, 2009, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. She continued working part time as a housekeeper until 2014 when she became a full-time homemaker.

In her younger years she played competitive softball and enjoyed dirt track racing. She always enjoyed riding motorcycles and loved holiday family gatherings and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband Ronald John, of the home, her children, Tonya Jackson (Jeremy), of Oklahoma City, Mark Sutton, of Enid, Matt Sutton, of Enid, and Manuel Gonzalez, of Enid, three step children, Nick John (Mindy), of Enid, Ashley Kitchen, of Aledo Texas, and Jordan John, of Fairview; thirteen grandchildren, Maci (Jed), Tucker (Adria), Jade, Kingston, Amiaya, Kalem, Grayson, Everett, Abby, Easton, Emma, Carter, and Weston; two sisters, Carol Suiter, of Arizona and Donna West, of Enid; and her dog, Payton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Tammy and Cheryl.
