William “Bill” Joseph Jindra was born March 15, 1947, to Frankie and Emmaline Thomsen Jindra.
He died July 11, 2022, at the age of 75.
Bill attended Big 4 School, graduating in 1965.
He married Linda Layton on July 8, 1966, in Kingfisher and they had two boys, Timmy and Barry Jindra.
Bill went to work for Pioneer Telephone Cooperative in 1965 and retired March 31, 2010.
He married Virginia Heskett on Nov. 16, 1991.
Bill is survived by his wife of the home; two sons, Tim Jindra and wife Kim and Barry Jindra and wife Shelly, all of Kingfisher; three stepsons, Willie Heskett and wife Penny of Houston, Texas, Randy Heskett and wife Dee of Kingfisher and Ralf Heskett and wife Shelly of Kingfisher; four grandchildren, Jessica Jindra of Kingfisher, Scott Jindra of Yukon, Tori Castleberry and wife Taylor of Piedmont and Trevor Jindra of Mustang; eight step-grandchildren, Brandi Heskett, Kyah Heskett and Skyler Heskett of Houston, Texas, Dillon Heskett and wife Hannah of Oklahoma City, Allyson Heskett and fiancé Kenny Brueggen of Kingfisher, Shawna Ford of Lake Forrest, Calif., Tim Durland and wife Tara of Groveland, Calif., Amber Pringle and husband Cory of Fairbanks, Ak.; 12 great-grandchildren, Alijah Taylor, Devontae Taylor, Javon Heskett, Nana Heskett, Bryant Maes, Bella Pringle, Sophia Pringle, Lainey Pringle, Heath Pringle, Olivia Durland, Hunter Durland and Resse Castleberry.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
His sons are planning a celebration of his life for later this year. The date will be announced as soon as it is determined.
