Paula Lee (Todd) Jessie, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, left this life in Denison, TX on September 18, 2021, at the age of 56. She was born to James (Buck) Winfred Todd, Sr., and Anne Mae (Dockens) Todd in Mobile, Alabama on February 15, 1965. Paula married Arthur Jessie who preceded her in death.
A visitation will be held from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM on Tuesday September 21, 2021, at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, OK.
Paula joyfully dedicated her life to caring for her beloved family. She was a member of the Baptist faith, and Order of the Eastern Star, Carpenters Chapter 183. Paula thought butterflies were beautiful, she enjoyed the quiet solitude of fishing, and making beautiful quilts. Paula had a passion for life and took pleasure in singing, dancing, and playing the guitar. She often traveled to Dalphin Island in Alabama, the state of her birth, but her biggest blessing in life was her family.
Mrs. Jessie is survived by her daughters, Melinda and Melissa Davis, sisters, Sue Clevenger and husband David, and Missy Chabot and husband Michael, grandsons, Matthew and Joe Wiles, and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Jessie was preceded in death by her parents, Buck and Anne Mae Todd, husband, Arthur Jessie, brothers, Bubba and Michael Todd, along with aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and great nieces and nephews.
