Dwight B Jensen

Dwight B Jensen
Jul 29, 1930 - Sep 17, 2016

Dwight B. Jensen passed away on September 17th.

His memorial service will be held at the Eagles Lodge at 4 PM on Wednesday, September 28th. Friends are encouraged to come & share a story or two about Dwight.

He was born July 29, 1930 to Burt & Gladys Jensen in Ainesworth, NE. Dwight served 8 years in the US Army & was stationed all around the world, but he called NE home until 1974 when he moved Dewey OK where he worked as a carpenter . He was an avid hunter & fisherman. In 1993, Dwight met Duncan, where he found his greatest joy. They traveled & camped most summers, visited the Bad Lands to dig for rocks & fossils, & saw Mount Rushmore. They were hunting & fishing buddies. Dwight was sure proud to show pictures of all the walleye they caught.

Dwight was also a strong supporter of the NRA, a longtime member of the Eagles Lodge in Bartlesville, and set in his beliefs about politics. His patriotism never faded.

He was preceded in death by both parents and his only sibling, Dean.

He is survived by a daughter, Sharon, his adopted grandson & great-grandson, Duncan & Silas Pyle of Bartlesville and many friends & other adopted family & is greatly missed.
