Anthony Ray Jenkins

Anthony Ray Jenkins
July 28, 1952 ~ May 9, 2014

Tony was born July 28, 1952 to Raymond and Shirley Jenkins, then joined them in their heavenly home on May 9, 2014.

He was a 1970 graduate from Capitol Hill High School. Shortly following graduation, Tony served his country in the US Army, and received an honorable discharge.

He worked for Southwestern Bell as a directory clerk and soon promoted into management for several years. Tony spent his remaining years as a repair technician for AT&T until his retirement of 30 years in 2006.

He enjoyed being with friends and family, Sooner football, golfing, restoring cars and working in his yard.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Robin; his son, Conor, who was the light of his life; sister, Nikki Snider; and brother, Mike and wife, Lou, both of Oklahoma City.

Tony always felt very fortunate to have in-laws who treated him as a son, Bob and Charlene Reynolds, of Oklahoma City; and a host of other loving family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 16, 2014, at Shartel Church of God, 11600 S. Western.

In lieu of flowers, make donations to Hospice Quality Care, 921 S. Sooner Rd., Del City, Oklahoma 73110.
