James Edward Jellison, age 55 of Del City, Oklahoma passed away on May 3, 2019 in Del City. He was born on February 12, 1964 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Thomas and Elma (Guerrero) Jellison.
James graduated from Guthrie High School in 1987 and shortly after moved to Del City where he had resided for the last 30 years. James was an avid Dallas Cowboys football fan, enjoyed listening to rock and roll music, and attending concerts.
Survivors include his mother Elma Jellison of Guthrie, Oklahoma; brother Eric Jellison and wife Stacey of Tulsa, Oklahoma; niece Nicole Jellison of Tulsa, Oklahoma; nephew Sam Jellison of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and half siblings Robert Jellison and Tina Jellison of Amarillo, Texas. James was preceded in death by his father Thomas Jellison in February of 2011.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Guthrie with Reverend James Wickersham officiating.
Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
