January 16, 1940 ~ November 9, 2024

Eunice Janzen, 84, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born on January 16, 1940, in Jay, Oklahoma, to Amos Austin Hubbard, Sr. and Mamie Elizabeth (Orman) Jones.

Eunice grew up in and attended school in Jay, Oklahoma. She worked in various roles throughout her life, including the Dollar General in Inola. She also served as church secretary in Chelsea and as a repair technician at Lowrance Electronics, where she worked on fish locator devices.

In recent years, Eunice found joy in her marriage to Jerald “Jerry” Janzen, whom she married approximately nine years ago at a little chapel in the woods in Missouri. Together, they shared a love for travel, with her favorite visiting destinations being California and Minnesota. Eunice also loved spending time at home, making quilts, working in the garden, and, above all, cooking. Made with blackberries she and Jerry picked together, her blackberry cobbler was a cherished favorite.

Eunice was an avid reader, enjoying a wide variety of books. She deeply treasured her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Peggs Community Church and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and caregiver. Eunice touched the lives of many and will be missed for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering support.

and Hanna Denny of Inola, Oklahoma;
