Delores Nell Jansson passed away early Saturday morning at the age of 74.
Although she will be missed very much by her friends and family, we will always treasure the fond memories we have of her appreciation for a good joke and the hot rolls she made for every special occasion. She enjoyed returning to Texas to visit relatives and always remembered fondly the good times she spent with her husband, Harold, who died in 2006. She desperately missed Harold, but even through her last days, she maintained her vivacious sense of humor and spunk- the defining characteristic of Nellie, our mother, grandmother, aunt, neighbor and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Leonard Harold Jansson; brother, Teddy Johnson and her parents, Theodore and Bessie Johnson.
She leaves behind her two children: Robert Dale Foreman and Robin McKeown; grandchildren: Brandon Foreman and wife Alicia, Gentry and Mallori McKeown; two great-grandchildren: Jet Brandon and Macey J. Foreman; brother, Dale Johnson and wife Dixie; sister, JoAnn Rainey; her favorite neighbors: Phyllis Young, Irene Parrott and Willie and Judy Ramb; many nieces and nephews; and her dog, Christina, whom she loved very much.
