ENID - Memorial service for Frank Jaegle, 77, of Enid, will be 7 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2013, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel. Recitation of the Rosary is at 6:30 p.m., with the Knights of Columbus leading the Rosary.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice Circle of Love or St. Joseph Catholic School.
Frank was born Feb. 12, 1936, in Fort Scott, Kan., the son of Frank and Theresa Lauber Jaegle and went to our Lord on Monday, July 1, 2013, at his home surrounded by his wife and children.
Frank was five when he and his family moved to Atchison, Kan., where he attended grade school at St. Benedict?s grade school and high school at Maur Hill Prep School.
He married Mary Theresa Enzbrenner April 8, 1958, and they had three children.
Frank and his family moved to Enid, Okla., in 1987, working as a packer for Pillsbury/ADM. He retired from ADM in 1998, and enjoyed working maintenance part-time at McDonalds on Willow.
In his leisure time, Frank loved fishing with good friends, especial Frank Greer (now deceased). He also had many buddies that he would enjoy having coffee and shoot?in the breeze.
For the past 10 years, Frank and Mary would spend the winter months in Weslaco, Texas, and enjoyed friends and family, with Frank being quite the tease.
Frank was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Enid Council 1044. He was a fourth degree Knight, William T. Jochems General Assembly 1716, Atchison, Kan.
Frank is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Mike B. Jaegle (Angie) of Shawnee, Kan.; daughter, Debbie A. Parker (Terry) of Waukomis, Okla.; daughter, and Barbara K. Tucker (Baine) of Alpine, Texas; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; one stepgreat-grandchild; sister, Helen Fanning of Wichita, Kan.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Charles Jaegle, and one sister, Rosella Kurtz, both of Atchison, Kan; two grandchildren, Mary Maragret Costabile and Louis Peter Costabile.
