Tariq Za’wone Jackson, age 19, of Lawton passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019.
Tariq was born on October 27, 2000 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Derrick Jackson and Shenelle Denise Hutcheson. He grew up and attended school in Lawton where he graduated from Lawton Eisenhower High School in May of 2019. Tariq received the Next Step Scholarship from the Great Plains Technology Center in Lawton. He had a strong passion for his family and friends. In his free time, Tariq enjoyed football, wrestling, track, music and dancing, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his grandmother, Levida Hutcheson, Tariq is survived by his mother, Shenelle Hutcheson of Lawton; his father, Derrick Jackson of Detroit, Michigan; one brother, Ja’Cory Hutcheson of Lawton; three sisters, Ericka Jackson of Detroit, Derriona Jackson of Detroit and Safiya Jackson of Lawton; his grandfather, Regional Bryant of Lawton; one aunt, Pamela Hutcheson of Tacoma, Washington; two uncles, Reggie Bryant Jr. of Oklahoma City and Timothy Bryant of Dallas, Texas and favorite cousin, Ki’l Hutcheson of Tacoma, Washington along with numerous other relatives, close friends and his Eisenhower High School Football Family.
