Tyler Heath Jackson

Tyler Heath Jackson
October 10, 1998 ~ August 22, 2024

Tyler Heath Jackson was born on October 10, 1998, in Pryor, Oklahoma, to Bryan Jackson and Heather (Bray) Montgomery. He left this world on Thursday, August 22, 2024, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, at the age of 25 years, 10 months, and 12 days.

Tyler was a 2017 graduate of Tahlequah High School, where he earned a spot on the President’s Honor Roll. His deep compassion for others guided him to a career as a recovery coach at CREOKS Health Services in Tahlequah, where he found purpose and fulfillment in helping those in need.

Tyler had a variety of interests that reflected his unique personality. He was an avid gamer and loved playing the card game Magic. He also enjoyed watching Korean dramas. Tyler was known for his love of people and cherished the moments spent with his friends and family. Despite his quiet demeanor, he was quick-witted, with a kind heart that shone through in everything he did. His smile had the power to brighten anyone's day, and his willingness to lend a hand, no matter the situation, defined who he was. One of his most endearing traits was the comfort he found in his beloved “Blankie,” which he carried with him everywhere. Tyler was deeply loved, and his absence will be felt by all who knew him.

Tyler is survived by: His mother: Heather Montgomery of Adair, Oklahoma; 2 brothers: Bryant Bray and Arthur Jackson, both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Maternal grandparents: Edward and Teresa Moore of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Paternal grandmother: Sherry Jackson of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bryan Edward Jackson, his step-father, Joshua Montgomery, and paternal great grandmother, Lihla Jackson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention at https://afsp.org. Cremation services were entrusted to Locust Grove Funeral Home. Please share your thoughts, memories, and condolences at www.locustgrovefuneralhome.com.
