Reginald P. Jackson, Earlsboro resident, passed away Thursday, Aug. 9, 2018, in Ada at the age of 63.

Reginald was born March 9, 1955, in Shawnee to Carl Sypert and Shirley Jackson.

Reginald married Dorothy Jefferson on June 23, 1984, in Shawnee.

Reginald was known for his many talents. He was an avid artist, barber and craftsman. Whether it was building decks, installing cabinets, laying tile or hanging sheetrock, Reggie was truly a jack-of-all trades. He dedicated his time perfecting his craft. He loved listening to jazz and reggae music like Dave Koz, Kenny G, Bob and Ziggy Marley and Yellowman, to name a few.

Reggie was a funny, witty, hard working, loyal and straightforward man. He was well known throughout his community in Shawnee.

Reginald is survived by his wife Dorothy of the home; two sons, Kino Terry and his wife Nathalie of Dallas, Texas, Chad McClain and Fallon Wilkerson of Shawnee; one daughter, Misty Cox and her husband Taylor of Seminole; one sister Gailia Jackson of Shawnee; seven grandchildren, Dionte Terry, Christian Terry, Kayden Terry, Christian Brager, Emanuel McClain, Chaysin McClain and Za'Karia McClain.

Reginald was preceded in death by Burnell Childs, Shirley Jackson, Karen Stargell, Ronnie Childs and Bernard Jackson.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 16, at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel of Seminole with Inman Doakes officiating.

The family would like to give special thanks to Halo Hospice and Ballard Nursing Home in Ada and Seminole Care and Rehab Center in Seminole for their love and support.

Cremation services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
