Phyllis Catherine (Bauer) Jackson, 64, of Perry, Oklahoma, was born September 22, 1956, and went to walk with the Lord on Friday, June 12, 2020 at her home. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, and although taken so soon, we know she is watching over us.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her mother, Maxine (Gatlin) Williams and father, John Phillip Bauer; sisters, G. Darlene Alvis and Geraldine (Bauer) Lyle.
She is survived by her husband, Charles (Dan) Jackson of the home; sisters, E. Louise (Lou) Ormand and husband, Lloyd of Harrah, Oklahoma, Evelyn B. Allsup of Nevada, and Linda S. Jeffers of California; and mother-in-law, Rose Ann Jackson of Perry, Oklahoma.
She was a wonderful mother to all her children who also survived her, John R. Staggs and wife Tracy (Davis) Staggs of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Gregory L. Jay and wife Billi (Warwick) Jay of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Catherine R. Jay of Perry, Oklahoma, Levi Dan Jackson and wife Jessica (Cooper) Jackson of Perry, Oklahoma, Leah D. (Jackson) Eary and husband Monte, of Rush Springs, Oklahoma, and Laci L. (Jackson) Ravina and husband Michael of San Francisco, California
Phyllis was also a loving and devoted grandmother (Mema) to Serena Baker, Grason Palos, Gavin Palos, Corbin Staggs, Cainan Staggs, Coleson Warden, Adrienne Warden, Eden Eary, Caleb Jackson, Ashlyn Jackson, Brooklyn Jackson, Adelyn Jackson, Isaac Jackson, Danny Brake, Gianna Ravina, Alexis Makayla, and Dylan Jay.
She was also devoted to her fur babies, Boomer and Sissy Maxine Jackson.
We will miss you momma, your smile, your kindness, and warmth, but we all have great comfort knowing that you are watching over all of us now. We love you dearly.
The family will be celebrating her beautiful life privately on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. Services are entrusted to the care of Dighton Marler Funeral Home of Perry.
