Jimmy Durrell Jackson

Jimmy Durrell Jackson
December 26, 1944 ~ September 5, 2025

Jimmy Durrell Jackson was born on December 26, 1944, to Kenneth and Katherine Jackson in Taft, California. He departed this life September 5, 2025, at the age of 80 joining his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

He graduated from Bristow High School in 1964. On January 31, 1976, Jimmy Jackson and Zaida Campbell were united in marriage. They enjoyed thirty-nine years together before her passing September 15, 2015.

Jimmy worked for over thirty-seven years at Unit Rig as an overhead crane operator before eventually retiring from Taylor Industries. He enjoyed loading ammunition, hunting, fishing and in his later years coloring pictures.

He is survived by four sons, Mike Jackson of Lawton OK, Kelly Jackson and spouse Stephanie of Skiatook OK, Ira Jackson and spouse Cindy of Warner OK, Jerry Jackson and spouse Chelsea Dougless of Sand Springs OK; one brother, Jerry Jackson and spouse Beth; nine grandchildren, Nicole Richerson, Ryan Jackson, Demi Cook, Clinton Jackson, Garrett Jackson, Gavin Jackson, Eric Jackson, River Jackson, Conor Jackson; brother in laws, Larry Cathey (Mary) and Bill Cubbage; one sister in law, Judy Kendrick; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews as well as other extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and sister, Carol Cubbage.
