Corey Dale Ivey
September 18, 1970 ~ July 31, 2017

Corey Dale Ivey, Lawton, was born September 18, 1970 in Nuremberg, Germany to Walker and Carolyn Jane Ivey. He passed away July 31, 2017 at the age of 46. A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Whinery-Huddleston Chapel with Pastor Lonie Hanson officiating.

Corey graduated from Lawton High School in 1988. He worked in construction most of his life, currently working for Ron Nance. Corey was a self-proclaimed "professional fisherman". He was extremely kind hearted, always helping someone in need. The joy of his life was his son, Sabian, and his grandson, Averie Slade. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his Paw Paw, T.D. Allen; his granddad, Howard Timken; grandmother, Wanda Darlene Timken; and his uncle, Howard Timken.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Jane and Robert Lynn of Lawton; father and step-mom, Walker and Mary Ann Ivey of San Angelo, TX; son, Sabian Roman of Aztec, NM; grandson, Averie Slade Roman of Aztec, NM; grandma, Mammie Dora Allen of Lawton; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.
