Mary Ellen Cantrell Inselman, age 83, of Perry, Oklahoma went home to be with her Savior on March 17, 2020 with her husband by her side.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Mary Ellen Cantrell was born on March 23, 1936 in Clayton, New Mexico to James and Mary (Kennedy) Cantrell. She grew up in Perry and graduated in 1953 from Perry High School. She married Melvin Lee Inselman in September of 1953. Mary worked as a house wife and also as the Noble County Election Board Secretary. She was involved in the Wheatheart Nutrition Center. Mary was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church since 1957, where also taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She also enjoyed gardening, crocheting and reading.
Survivors include her husband Melvin; her sons: Marty and wife Sarah Inselman, Michael Inselman, and Matthew and wife Teresa Inselman; sister Doris Beckham; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; son Melvin Wayne Inselman; daughter Marilee Jean Church; brothers: Leroy Cantrell and Donnie Cantrell; and sister Mayme Cantrell Voise.
