Janice Kay Ingrum, age 78, a longtime Atoka, OK resident. She was born on Tuesday, April 1, 1947, to John Stanley and Ruby Maxine (McDonald) McCuistion, at Decatur, TX. Janice passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Dallas, TX surrounded by her loved ones.
After getting out of high school she received her GED and went on to attend nursing school. Janice was a housewife and homemaker. She was also a hospitality clerk at Best Western and worked at Atoka Hospital. She married Tommy Ingrum on Tuesday, March 28th, 1978 at Sherman, TX. They celebrated 37 years of marriage before his passing on December 3, 2015. Janice attended Mountain View Pentecostal church. She enjoyed watching birds, especially hummingbirds, sitting on her front porch, listening to her christian music, enjoyed arts and crafts, and loved spending time with her family. Janice loved going to church. She was the life of the party.
Janice is survived by her children, Debbie Mead and husband Billy of Lane, OK, Teresa Chmielowiec and husband Kevin of Canyon, TX, Michael Collins of Florence, TX, Randy Ingrum and wife Kelly of Atoka, OK, Mandy Ingrum of McAlester, OK, Shelby Ingrum of McAlester, OK; daughter in law, Diane Hardy of Wylie, TX; grandchildren, Sasha Davis and husband Ryan of Canyon, TX, Shelly Lucas of Stringtown, OK, Darrell Milum of Borger, TX, Ronnie Milum and wife Krystal of Amarillo, TX, Joshua Lucas and wife Alisha of Atoka, OK, Colton Mead and wife Zariel of Stringtown, OK, Katelyn Robinson and husband Skylar of Atoka, OK, Phoebe Ingrum of Tulsa, OK, Alyssa Rowe and husband Aaron of Canyon, TX, Aaron Collins and wife Samantha of Wylie, TX, River Collins of Wylie, TX, Amanda Meek and husband Alan of Whitesboro, TX; along with numerous great grandchildren, one great great grandchild on the way, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, John Stanley McCuistion and
Ruby Maxine (McDonald) Mask; husband, Tommy Ingrum; brother, Stanley
McCuistion; grandson, Christopher Ingrum.
