Clay Howard Ingram, Sr.
June 22, 1961 ~ March 18, 2025

Clay Howard Ingram, Sr. was born on June 22, 1961, in Kansas City, KS, to Don Velton Ingram, Sr., & Betty Jo (Poole) Ingram. On March 18, 2025, at the age of 63, Clay passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Clay spent his early years in Arizona & graduated as a member of the Moon Valley High School Class of 1979 in Phoenix. On August 10, 1984, he married the love of his life, Kimberly Dale Ponsler, & together they built a life filled with love & dedication. For the past 15 years, they made their home in Pryor, OK.

A skilled & passionate autobody technician, Clay was currently employed at Champion Collision in Pryor. His appreciation for cars—especially classic models—was evident in his meticulous work & craftsmanship. Beyond his career, Clay found joy in the outdoors, particularly in deer hunting. He was a lifetime member of the NRA & a proud member of the North American Hunting Club.

Clay was a devoted family man who worked tirelessly to provide for those he loved. He will be remembered for his honesty, reliability, & unwavering love for his family. To those who knew him, Clay was not just a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, & son—he was a pillar of strength & kindness. His legacy of love, hard work, & integrity will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Clay is survived by: His loving wife of over 40 years, Kim, of the home; His son, Clay Howard Ingram, Jr., & wife Misty of Pryor, OK; His daughter, Margie Lamarre, & husband Dustin of Tahlequah, OK; His father, Don Ingram, Sr., of Pryor, OK; His grandchildren: Brent, Colton, Jimmy, Brianna, Britney, & Racelyn; 4 great-grandchildren; His brother, Don Ingram, Jr., & wife Elizabeth of Collinsville, OK; Brothers-in-law, Steven Ponsler & Scott Ponsler of Tacoma, WA; Sister-in-law, Suzie Ingram of Camp Verde, AZ; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, & dear friends.

Clay was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jo (Poole) Ingram, & his brother, Doug Ingram.

A Celebration of Life and potluck dinner in honor of Clay will be held 3:00 P.M., Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the American Legion Post in Salina, Oklahoma. Cremation services were entrusted to Locust Grove Funeral Home.
