Gillem A. Ingerton

September 22, 1911 ~ January 23, 1992

Funeral services for Gillem A. Ingerton, 80, who died Thursday, January 23, 1992, will be at 2 PM Monday at St. Matthews Episcopal Church. The Rev. James V. Thompson will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau - Evans Funeral Home. He died at Bass Memorial Baptist Hospital.

He was born September 22, 1911 in Amarillo, Texas. He attended school in Amarillo, Texas, and received a football scholarship to the University of Texas. He was employed with Halliburton. In 1940, he married Marcella Hill. He was a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church.

Surviving are his wife, Marcella, of Enid; two daughters, Mary Smith of Mannford and Susie Bryant of Enid; seven grandsons and three great - grandsons.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society through the funeral home.

The funeral for Marcella M. Ingerton, 76, will be at 10 AM Saturday at St. Matthews Episcopal Church. The Rev. Barney Jackson will officiate. Burial will be in the Llano Cemetery at Amarillo, Texas. Arrangements are by Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home.

She was born September 20, 1919, in LaClede, Illinois, to C. M. And Lula Kinnaman Hill and died Wednesday, February 7, 1996, at the Integris Bass Baptist Health Center in Enid after a period of ill health.

In 1940, she married Gillem Ingerton. He died January 23, 1992. She came to Enid in 1967 from Bartlesville, and was a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church and the Daughter of the Nile

Surviving are two daughters, Sandra "Susie" Purnell of Enid and Mary O. Wagoner of Mannford; seven grandsons; and three great – grandsons.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, two brothers and one sister.
