Jackie Ray Hyslope son of James Wilbur and Lorraine (Seuferer) Hyslope was born April 27, 1950 in Des Moines, Iowa and departed this life on September 17, 2008 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 58 years, 4 months and 21 days.
Jack worked as a paper handler and was a manager for a newspaper office for many years. He loved spending time with family and friends and especially liked having cookouts with them.
He was preceded in death by his father; James Hyslope, 3 sisters; Beverly Weiny, Bessie Ashby, and Betty McGuire, 2 brothers; James and J.W. Hyslope.
Jack is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife of over 26 years, Joyce Hyslope of the home, son; Bill Hyslope and wife Jacque, daughers; Kristina Brown and husband Artie all of Stilwell, OK, Jackie Lewis and husband Cory of Bunch, OK, 18 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. His mother; Lorraine Johnson of Norwalk Iowa, sister; Carol Hyslope of Norwalk, Iowa, 1 step daughter; Dawn Tracy and husband Bobby of Bunch, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Memorial services were held, Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the families home in Stilwell, OK. Services were under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
