Anna "Jeaneal" (Moots) Hutcheson

Anna "Jeaneal" (Moots) Hutcheson
September 11, 1934 ~ January 15, 2021

Anna "Jeaneal" Moots Hutcheson, 86, of Garland, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2021.

Jeaneal was born on September 11, 1934, to Gaylon and Clara Lou Moots, in Enid, Oklahoma. After graduation from Enid High School in 1952 she went to Wichita University to study nursing. Also in 1952, Edwin Elliott Hutcheson of Garber, Oklahoma, and his cousin would crash a girl's slumber party. The next day he called one of the girls and described who he wanted to get a date with, only to find out when he picked her up it was Jeaneal. The rest is history. They were married in 1954. After Ed graduated from OSU in 1955, he was drafted into the Navy and off to San Diego the couple moved to start their lives together.

In 1957 they moved to Dallas, Texas. Jeaneal worked for Southland Life. In 1958 she had their first child Mary Elizabeth. Their second child Anne Claire came along in 1963 in Richmond, VA, and their third child Amy Cathryn, was born in 1965 in Little Rock, AR. In 1966 Jeaneal's mother passed away so her 15-year-old sister Gay Lynn became the fourth child in the Hutcheson household. They also lived a few years in Los Angeles, CA. They finally made it back to Dallas, Texas, to raise their girls.

In 1974 they built a house in Plano, Texas. Jeaneal would go to work for Plano ISD in 1978 and worked at Haggard Middle School, Bowman Middle School and retired as the Office Manager of Murphy Middle School 26 years later. I don't believe there are many that knew her that did not love her. She put footprints on the hearts of many.

Jeaneal was a devout Christian and always lived her life with him at the head of it. She is a member of Word Centers of Texas an in-home Christian fellowship.

She is survived by her husband Edwin of Garland, TX; her sister Gay Lynn and husband Robert S. Johnson of Dallas, TX; her 3 daughters, Mary and her husband Ernie Nall of Gordonville, TX, Anne Sisk of Allen, TX, and Amy and her husband Troy Ford of Allen, TX; her grandchildren Joe Newton and his wife Taylor of Allen, TX, Thomas Buchanan and his wife Liz, of Allen, TX, Todd Sisk of Allen, TX, Emile Sisk of Dallas, TX, and Brett Buchanan of Kansas City, MO; and great-grandchildren, Isabella Sisk Gonzalez, Tyler Sisk, and Liam Newton. Her girls and grands were her world as she always looked forward to spending time with them.

Graveside services will be held for the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial made payable to her church Word Centers of Texas and mailed to 2703 Dove Creek Drive, Rowlett, TX 75088.
