Orville Henry Hurst

November 7, 1937 ~ December 7, 2009

Orville H. Hurst, 72 of Choctaw, passed away on Monday Dec. 7, 2009. He was born to Jesse J. and Cora M. (McQuillan) Hurst on Nov. 7, 1937 in Gotebo, OK.

Orville retired from O.U. Medical Center as a Carpenter with 29 yrs. of service. He enjoyed woodworking projects, gardening, and especially watching his kids and grandkids playing sports.

Orville married Raylene Boswell on May 10, 1957 in Midwest City, OK.

He is survived by his wife of 52 yrs. Raylene, 3 sons: Randy & wife Regina, Danny, and Mike, daughter Shelly, 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 2 brothers: Virgil & wife Bobbi, Freddie & wife Jeannette, 2 sisters: Verna, and Berniece & husband Junior, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse & Cora Hurst.
