Kathryn Marie Mashburn Hurst was born April 27, 1948 in Stroud, Oklahoma and departed this life December 13, 2022.
Kathy was born to Charles Mashburn and Dottie (Jordan) Mashburn Grammer.
Kathy was a high school graduate of Stroud High School. Kathy was a medical technologist at Stroud Hospital for many years, she loved helping others in any way. She enjoyed reading, sewing and crocheting. But one of her favorite things to do was go, either go to Walmart or go out and eat. She loved to eat out as often as she could and didn’t care who took her as long as she got to go. Kathy loved to buy things and help others. She lived a long life and was greatly loved by her family.
The grandkids were a huge part of her daily life and they adored her just as much. She always had candy and snacks for them. She was a loving person who always put her kids before herself. Her children never doubted her love for them. Kathy was the Patriarch, the elder, the “grandma”. Her leaving has left a large hole and she will be missed tremendously. Life will forever be changed.
