LaRue Hurd, age 66, of Pawhuska died at 11:25 am Thursday, July 20, 2017 in Bartlesville.
LaRue was born January 30, 1951 in Pawhuska to James and Alean (Bohannon) Lohman. LaRue grew up and received her education in Pawhuska graduating from High School in 1969. LaRue was happily married to Earl "Butch" Hurd for 41 years. LaRue worked the majority of her life as a rancher in both Weiser, ID and Pawhuska.
LaRue was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband Earl "Butch" Hurd Jr., and infant son Kenneth Earl Hurd.
LaRue is survived by her five children: Ronnie Hurd of Skiatook, Tina Pittman and husband Terry of Weatherford, TX, Gary Hurd and wife Kristina of Owasso, Danny Joe Laird and wife Kim of Pawhuska, Travis Hurd and wife René of Bartlesville, one brother: Jim Lohman of Skiatook, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life Services will be Sunday, July 30, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Ray Residence, 4455 Hobby Lane in Skiatook, Oklahoma.
