Mary Margureete (Moran) Hunter

March 21, 1930 ~ December 19, 2007

Mary Moran Hunter, born March 21, 1930 at her grandparent's home (Edward Frances and Mary Maud Moran) 1 mile east of Anadarko, Oklahoma, to George Clay Moran and Irene Stroud Moran.

Mary Margureete Moran Hunter passed away December 19, 2007 in Oxford, Michigan at her home.

Mary worked at Southwestern Bell Telephone Co, Morgan Portable Buildings, and Anadarko Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce.

She lived in Texas and Oklahoma until moving to Oxford, Michigan in 2003 to live with her son, Charles Clay Hunter and his wife, Kimberly.

Mary was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Robert Hunter.

She is survived by her 3 loving sons, Page (Vanessa) of Terrell, Texas, Wesley (Judy) of Fresno, California, and Clay (Kimberly) of Oxford; her 4 loving grandchildren, Whitney, Kara, Kason, and Jonathan Hunter; brothers and sister, George (Peggy) Moran of Apache, Oklahoma, Donna (Cliff) Peterson of Roswell, New Mexico, Richard (Melinda) Moran of Mesquite, Texas and Terry (Deborah) Moran of Anadarko, Oklahoma.

She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and old and new friends.

Memorial service Saturday, December 22, 2007, 11 AM at the Free Methodist Church, 790 S. Lapeer Rd., Oxford, Michigan.

The family will receive friends 10:30 AM until time of service.

Suggested memorials to the Scottish Rite Hospital, Dallas, Texas or St. Jude Childrens Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee.

A memorial service will be held sometime in April, 2008 in Anadarko, Oklahoma.

Arrangements were in the care of the Modetz Funeral Home, Orion, Michigan 248-371-3777.
