Carol Ann Hunter of Ardmore, Oklahoma was born on December 13, 1959, in Arlington, Texas to Weldon Joe and Velma Fay (Sharp) Hunter. Carol passed away on August 8, 2023, in Denison, Texas at the age of 63. Carol attended school at Lone Grove and worked in retail sales until her retirement. She had a deep love for her family, and she treasured the time she spent with them.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents Weldon Joe and Velma Fay (Sharp) Hunter and sister Tammy Ray Davis.

Loved ones left behind to continue her legacy are her brother Bobby Joe Hunter and wife Margaret of Edmond, OK; daughters Kimberly Ann Smith and husband Terry of Ardmore, OK and Patricia Dawn Sanders and husband Chris of Calera, OK; grandson Adam Ray Smith of Ardmore, OK; granddaughter Samantha Marie Leonard and husband Cody of Calera, OK and numerous extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday evening August 12, 2023, from 6-8 PM at Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service 4900 W. US Hwy 70 Durant, Oklahoma 74701.
