April 24, 1997 ~ September 4, 2012

Austin Glen Hunter, 15, of Midwest City Oklahoma passed away on September 4th 2012 at his home. Austin was born on April 24, 1997 in Brookings South Dakota to Misty Dawn Hunter and Jeffrey Alan Koller.

Austin lived in Brookings South Dakota until the age of 4, he then moved to Midwest City, Oklahoma where he resided with his grandparents, Terry and Sue Hunter. Austin attended school at Soldier Creek Elementary where he played 2 seasons of little league baseball where he received 2 trophies and several certificates for his achievements. He also attended Carl Albert Middle School before moving to Salt Lake City Utah with his father Jeffrey Koller where he attended school.

While in Salt Lake City Utah, Austin enjoyed being on the wrestling team where he was awarded two medals during the season and going on long hikes in the mountains with his dad. Austin then moved back to Midwest City Oklahoma and attended Carl Albert Middle School and Carl Albert High School. While in high school, Austin joined the Jr ROTC and his plans for the future were to join the Marines and serve his country. Austin loved to play video games for hours on end with his family, uncles and friends. Austin loved going to family gatherings especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas where he enjoyed his cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents and great grandparents.

Austin is survived by his mother, Misty Barnett, step father, Brandon Barnett, a sister, Harleigh Barnett, a brother Brycen Barnett all of Midwest City, OK, his father Jeffrey Koller of Salt Lake City Utah. Grandparents Mark and Beverly Koller of Ocala Florida, Beverly and Scott Chariton of Cedar Rapids Iowa and Terry and Sue Hunter of Midwest City, Ok. Austin is also survived by his great grandmother Marlene Hunter of Midwest City Oklahoma, Faye Birky of Cedar Rapids Iowa. Austin is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
