August 11, 1954 ~ March 11, 2013

Jerry Virgil Hunt, Meeker, Oklahoma, resident was born on August 11, 1954, in Cass City, Michigan and departed this life on March 11, 2013, at his home in Meeker at the age of 58 years.

Jerry was the son of Harold and Ila Neiman Hunt.

He served in the United States Army during Vietnam War.

Jerry was married to Carol Grunewald for over 25 years.

He worked for the United States Postal Service and then as a machinist at Tinker Air Force Base.

His parents and one brother preceded Jerry in death.

Survivors include his wife, Carol of the home, three sons and daughters-in-laws, Craig and Carrie Hunt of Carney, Oklahoma, Brent Hunt of Kansas, Jeff and Cassie Fale of Oklahoma City, four daughters and sons-in-laws, Ladonna Hunt of Meeker, Oklahoma, Shannon and Tim Davis of Duncan, Oklahoma, Jessica Fale of Chandler, Oklahoma and Sheila and Doug Scott of Chandler, Oklahoma, two brothers, Danny Hunt of Virginia and Don Hunt of Webberville Michigan, one sister, Mary Kay Wolschlager of Filion, Michigan, three grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Mammoth Baptist Church near Meeker, Oklahoma.

Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
