Larry Wayne Hunnicutt
January 6, 1941 ~ March 19, 2021

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Larry Wayne (LW) Hunnicutt, 80, of Colbert, will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 23rd, at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Mead. Pastor Randy Lewis and Bro. Tommy Rowland will be the officiants. Family hour will begin one hour prior to funeral services at the church.

Larry was born January 6, 1941 in Durant, Oklahoma to the late Warren and Ruby (Compton) Hunnicutt and passed from this life on Friday, March 19, in Denison, Texas. Larry married Patricia Ann Heid on December 16, 1959 at Hayward, California. Larry and Patricia came to Bryan county in 2001 from Ceres, California. They were married sixty years until her death on July 30, 2019.

Larry was very involved with ACTRA, CCA, and attended Emmanuel Baptist Church. He enjoyed roping, watching bull riding, and loved socializing and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers Gerald and Tommy Hunnicutt, his in-laws Lee and Eleanora Heid, and brother-in-law Bill Heid.

Larry is survived by his daughters: Pamela Hunnicutt and Terrey Reed; grandchildren: Jarrod Hunnicutt and his wife Teresa, Hannah Guajardo and Brett Guthrie, Jonathan Horn and his wife Jessica, and Kelley Hunnicutt; great-grandchildren: Parker Hunnicutt, Landon Withers, Raiden Guthrie, Taylor Casey and Reagan Casey. Sisters: Brenda Rowland and her husband Tommy, Susy Hunnicutt and Kandi Hunnicutt; and also numerous extended family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jarrod Hunnicutt, Hannah Guajardo, Brett Guthrie, Jonathan Horn, John M. and Tommy Rowland.
