Charles Lafayette Hunget

Sept. 4, 1930 ~ July 2, 2011

Charles Lafayette Hunget, 80, of Poteau, died July 2, 2011, in Poteau. He was born Sept. 4, 1930, in Grover, Colo., to John Rufus and Gladys Emma (Moore) Hunget. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 57 years, Donna Lee (Clark) Hunget; a daughter, Sharon; two brothers, Robert Hunget and John Hunget; and a sister, Julie Moore.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Charles and Donna Hunget of Poteau, and Jerry Hunget of Ann Arbor, Mich.; five grandchildren, Kelly Hunget, Dawn Houck, Rebecca Wallin and Jerry and Robert Hunget; six great-grandchildren, Caitlin and Jacob Houck, Caleb Hunget, William Wallin, Bethany Bohr and Caylee Hunget; four sisters, Betty Bowman, Karen Vanetta and Sandra Nix all of Michigan and Shirley Worster of North Carolina; a brother, Gerald Hunget of Michigan; and numerous other family, friends and loved ones.

Cremation services were under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home, Poteau. Interment will follow at a later date.
