Aidan Wayne Hundley, age 15, passed on September 9, 2019. A celebration of his life will be held at 2 pm on Friday, September 13, 2019, at the Connect Church with Rev. Mark Busch officiating.
He was born on December 27, 2003, to Dustin and Rachel (Rowe) Hundley in Blackwell, OK. Aidan had a strong love for his family, his friends, and his music. He enjoyed games, loved animals and always wanted to be there for others. Aidan’s life included many fun-filled adventures.
His offbeat sense of humor would always make you smile, like his party trick where he could play his recorder with his nose. His one-liners were the best. His passion for music inspired him to learn different instruments and he had a collection of not so common ones. He learned to play bass, electric guitar, tuba, saxophone, kalimba, kazoo, and his recorder.
Aidan enjoyed helping family cook and had an eye for inventing tasty treats, like his self (and families) proclaimed Aidan special “Best Sandwich Ever”. He was becoming very handy with carpentry work and fixing things around the house. He had a curiosity to learn everything about everything.
He enjoyed taking long walks to the bluff while visiting family in Missouri. Aidan valued his time with friends at the 5th St. Park and going to the movies. His passion for listening to music led to a very eclectic playlist: from David Bowie to Joji to Ozzy Osborne and Rag ‘n’ Bone Man.
His punctuality was important to him; he would want to show up at least an hour before he had to be there. He was so smart, almost like he had a photographic memory at times.
He is survived by his parents, Dustin and Rachel Hundley; sister, Kayla and many family members and friends who loved him. The family asks that those attending the service to dress as comfortably as you would like.
