Richard Edwin "Rick" Hulsey, 54, of Bethel Acres, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016 at his home.
He was born July 1, 1962 to Raymond Edwin and Ruthie Faith Morris Hulsey in Hinton, Oklahoma.
Rick was raised in a military family and moved around a lot as a child. He graduated with the class of 1970 from Caney Valley High School.
He married Sara Jean Holbert on February 11, 1990 in Thompson, Georgia and she preceded him in death on April 26, 2010.
Rick worked in production support at Tinker Air Force Base.
He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Earlsboro, Oklahoma. Rick enjoyed hunting, fishing, visiting with friends and his church family. His main interest in life was his family; they were the focal point of his life.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Jean Hulsey, father, Raymond Edwin Hulsey and brother, Alvin Lee Hulsey.
Rick is survived by his mother, Ruth Hulsey of Seminole, Oklahoma, two children, Dena and Bryan Nipper of Earlsboro, Oklahoma and Monty and Paula Robbins of Earlsboro, Oklahoma, three grandchildren, Tanner Nipper, Chris Nipper and Jennifer Wilson, four great-grandchildren, Hanna, Haley, Braley and Raylan, three brothers, Dennis and Sandra Hulsey of Dickinson, Texas, Sidney Earl Childress, Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida and William Gilbert and Jennifer Childress of Norman, Oklahoma, many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m.to 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 26, 2016 and continue through service time. Family gathering to meet with friends and family will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, September 26, 2016 at Cooper Funeral Home.
Service will be 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Fairview Baptist Church with Richard Gay officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
