Michael Dean Hulen
June 3, 1949 ~ April 28, 2025

Michael Hulen, 75 year old Woodward resident passed away, Monday April 28, 2025 in Woodward. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, May 6, 2025 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Garden Cemetery in Dalhart, Texas at 2:30 pm Tuesday, May 6, 2025.

Michael Dean Hulen was born June 3, 1949 to Claude and Louise (Bacher) Hulen in Kansas City, Missouri at 8:01 pm in the Trinity Lutheran Hospital. He grew up and attended school in Kansas City, graduating from Kansas City Southwest High School. After high school, he joined the United States Air Force.

Michael was united into marriage to Twyla Frazier on February 14, 2002 in Miami, Oklahoma. The couple made their home in Junction City, Kansas and later Mooreland, Oklahoma before settling in Woodward.

Michael often enjoyed going to auctions and collecting antiques especially guns. He loved spending time with his wife and his faithful companion My Ray.

He was a member of the American Legion and an Eagle Scout.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Twyla Hulen; sons, Mark Hulen and wife Amy, Mike Miles, Eric Miles and wife Lori; daughter, Cher Bohl and husband Andy; brother, John Hulen and wife Cheryl; grandchildren, Destanee Bohl, Easton Bohl, Destinee Gann, Kobee Barnett, Chase Miles, Abby Miles, Kayli Miles, Blake Miles, Zach Miles, Brittany Miles, Sarah Hulen, Molly Hulen, Emily Hulen and Christopher Hulen; great grandchildren, Bentlee and Waylon Gann, Oaklee, Kinslee and Rhyder Bohl and Lakynn Tholstrup.

He is preceded in death by Claude K. Hulen and Louise Bacher as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

I will miss you every second, sweetie!
