Olen Ray Hughes, age 91 of Enid, passed away Wednesday morning, October 23, 2024, at his home. Cremation arrangements are with Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.
He was born February 4, 1933, in Lone Wolf, OK to Robert and Alta Harris Hughes.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving as a Petty Officer Signalman.
Ray married Marion Noble on October 11, 1955, and they had celebrated 69 years together.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, brother Wayne Grider, and sister Barbara Hughes. He is survived by his wife Marion, sons, Michael Hughes and wife Jenna, Daniel Hughes and Randall Hughes, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a brother Ronald Grider.
