Gary Lynn Hughes was a Coalgate resident that passed away on January 22, 2022 in Coalgate, Oklahoma. He was 66 years, 8 months and 1 day old. Gary was born on May 21, 1955, to Carrol Ray Hughes and Rosetta Florence (Pardue) Coachman at Clinton, Oklahoma. He attended Liberty High School in Brentwood, California.
Gary was a collision repairman. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Gary married Sandra Jean Hall on September 6, 1975 at Lake Tahoe, California. They spent 46 wonderful years together. Gary was of the Protestant Faith. He liked camping, fishing, and watching football. Gary was a huge 49ers fan. His favorite times were spent loving on his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Gary is survived by his wife Sandra Jean Hughes of the home and by his daughter Jennifer Lynn (Hughes) Jameson both of Coalgate, OK, his grandchildren Darian Northcutt and Chance Jameson of Ada, OK and Chloe Jameson of Coalgate, OK, Great Grandchildren Jax and Hensyn of Coalgate, OK, Nephew Steven Lynn Hughes and wife Christa of McAlester, OK, Great Nieces Brooklyn, Bailey and Bree of Coalgate, OK, Great Nephew Christopher Hughes of McAlester, OK along with many cousins and dearly loved friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his Father, Carrol Ray Hughes, his Mother, Rosetta Florence (Pardue) Coachman and his Sisters Mary Hughes and Connie Beth.
DATE OF VISITATION: Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 6-8PM
