Jean G. Huggins

???? ~ October 24, 1979 | Age 62

Services will be at 10 AM Saturday for Jean G. Huggins, 62, 501 N. grand, who died Wednesday morning in a local hospital after a sudden illness.

The Rev. Lewis L. Corporon will officiate at the rites in the Chapel of the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home. The body will be cremated.

Huggins was born in Topeka, Kansas, and moved to Enid with his parents. He graduated from Enid high school in 1935 and attended the University of Missouri.

Huggins owned and operated Tires, Inc., in Roswell, New Mexico, for a number of years. After the death of his wife, the former Alma Bowman, on December 23, 1973, he returned to Enid to live. Huggins was employed at K-mart at the time of his death.

He was a member of the Christian Church at Roswell.

Huggins is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Warren (Susan) Hollingshead, Euless, Texas, and Mrs. Ann Giles, Albuquerque, New Mexico; five grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Clarence (Esther) Metscher, Enid, Mrs. Max (Virginia) Presnell, Pampa, Texas, Mrs. Fred (Katherine nine) MacFarline, Kansas City, Missouri, and Mrs. Jesse (Barbara) Carter, Aptos, California.
