Thank You For Your Service!

Jeffrey Douglas Huffman

November 27, 1961 ~ November 8, 2008

Jeffrey Douglas Huffman, 46, retired Master Sergeant, USAF, was called home to be with our Lord, Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008 after a brief illness.

Jeff was known for his upbeat personality and friendly manner. His sense of humor was perhaps his strongest trait, which was colored by his love for the absurd. A dedicated family man, he never shied away from hard work and placed the needs of others above his own.

Jeff was an active member of Choctaw Church of the Nazarene and had an affinity for children's ministries.

He was a patriot who honorably served our country for 22 years in the U.S. Air Force, serving in Operations Enduring Freedom and Desert Storm. He retired in 2004 at Tinker AFB, OK as a Master Sergeant. He was most recently an employee of Cummins Southern Plains.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Nancy J. McColm Huffman; daughter, Jessica G. Huffman; son, Samuel E. Huffman; Father, Chester E. Huffman; step-mother, Barbara Huffman; two brothers: James D. Huffman and Keith E. Huffman and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Anita Faith Flowers Huffman.

Services will be held 10:00 am, Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at Choctaw Church of the Nazarene, Choctaw, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the children's ministry at Choctaw Church of the Nazarene; P.O. Box 887; Choctaw, OK 73020.
