Jerry Wayne Huff, son of Robert and Ruby Huff of Blackwell, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Bartlesville, OK on Friday, April 17, 2020. Jerry was born July 9, 1949 in Viola, AR., the 4th of 12 children. He grew up and attended school in Blackwell, OK. On February 3, 1969 Jerry joined the United States Army.
Jerry married Mary Josephine Landon on January 9, 1970 in Blackwell, OK. They made their home in Ponca City, OK where they have resided for 50 years. Their marriage was blessed with five children: Jerry Huff ll of Baton Rouge, LA, Annette Haley and husband Nathan of Mustang, OK, Crystal Comer and husband John of Bartlesville OK, Misty Huff of Blackwell, OK, and James Huff of Fond Du Lac, WI, ten grandchildren Jeremy Huff, Elizabeth, Christopher and Dodger Hocevar, Abby Mason, Sami Odden, Braden Wano, Christopher and Grace Comer, and Dylan Moore. Jerry loved teaching his grandchildren how to take care of their cars. He loved their visits and watching them develop into their special callings. His latest joy was spending time with his 3 great grandchildren Grayson and Jetson Mason and Emrie Odden know by Grandpa as “blue eyes".
Jerry was a retired member of the Pipe Fitters and Plumbers Union as well as the Labors Union. Jerry’s work took him to many places in the US working on powerhouses and in refineries where he made many friends. When not working, he would spend his time with friends and family. He spent time fishing with anyone who wanted to go and hunting birds with his brothers and friends. Jerry also enjoyed playing his guitar and singing with his girls.
Jerry is survived by his wife, 5 children, 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters, 3 brothers and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, 1 sister, and 1 grandson.
