Jodi Lynn Huff, age 28, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Hollis, passed away Monday, April 23, 2012, in Oklahoma City.
Jodi was born on September 28, 1983, in Altus, to Craig Steven Huff and Lori Leann (Wolfe) Horton. Living in Tipton until 1988, Jodi moved to Hollis where she completed kindergarten through her senior year. Involved in many aspects of Tiger activities, Jodi participated in basketball, softball, Future Farmers of America and showing her pigs. After her graduation with the 2002, Hollis Senior Class, Jodi began her college career at the University of Central Oklahoma, in Edmond. Upon completion, she began working at Sandridge Energy for a short time before taking a position in the human resources department with Integris Health Care, in Oklahoma City. In her spare time, she enjoyed OU Football and Thunder Basketball. Jodi loved her family dearly, but spending time with her twelve nieces and nephews was one of her favorite things in life.
Preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Jody Wolfe and her paternal aunt Shea Huff.
She is survived by her parents Kelly and Lori Horton of Hollis and Craig and Teressa Huff of Tipton; three sisters, Shaela McKaughan and husband Scott of Edmond, Oklahoma, Carrie Skelton and husband Chad of Wellington, Texas, Randi Gray and husband Taylor of Plains, Texas; three brothers, Scott Horton and wife Kristi of Hollis, Austin Huff and wife Whitney of Tipton and Houston Huff of Tipton; grandparents, Winona Wolfe, of Hollis, Paul and Sammy Horton of Hollis and Marvin and Ellyn Huff of Tipton along with her twelve nieces and nephews and many other relatives and a host of friends.
Memorial services for Jodi Huff will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 26, 2012, at
the Hollis First Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Farr officiating.
