Virginia Ann "Gini" Hudspeth was born on October 28, 1935 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Amos E. & Mae (Lyon) Layne. She passed from this life on October 7, 2008 at her home in Bixby, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years, 11 months & 9 days. "Gini" had lived in this area most of her life.

She had worked many years as a nurse in both hospitals and hospice organizations.

She was a longtime member of the St. James United Methodist Church and was very proud to serve in the church choir for several years.

She was a life member of the American Quarter Horse Association.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband; Harold "Huddy" Hudspeth. She is survived by several family members and many good friends. Honorary casket bearers were Mike Cox, Bob Froning, Tommy Atkins, Paul Turner, Eddie Crow, Matthew Duell & Rick Edwards.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. James United Methodist Church or the St. Francis Hospice. Online tributes and condolences may be left for the family at www.leonardmarkerfunerals.com. Services by Leonard & Marker Funeral Home of Bixby.
